I would like to thank you all for the support and encouragement over this past year.
It has been a solo flight without the weekly Malmö Basement Artists gatherings which are sorely missed, but 2014 has been a rewarding year in many other respects. Valuable energy and focus has been directed at re-establishing and promoting myself and my work rather than group or charity work.
Many hours and days of mishaps and failures with glass experiments has lead to perfecting an catalog of firing schedules for the most difficult of glass oxides. And as a result of a whole new wealth of knowledge and experiments an exciting range of sculptural glass designs awaits in 2015.
Delving into the online platform of E commerce proved to be a sharp learning curve requiring invested time and efforts but is starting to reap many rewards. My Etsy shop, now up and running with an exciting new array of Art and Art Glass to delight ‘the global audience’. Check it out https://www.etsy.com/se-en/shop/CiArt
Following a hectic Summer the Autumn saw another first into the blogging abyss and a revamp of my web site in an attempt to engage more with my audience. Still not sure if anyone is interested in what I have to say but I am saying it anyway! Autumn term art class for adults and children were consolidated to help with my time management, freeing up some valuable time for self practice and admin. Sadly the admin part got ignored with my exploration into more fun figurative work and now begins the New Year scramble to keep the Swedish tax man happy.
Successful Open Studio, ICS business and Christmas Markets offered wonderful opportunities to expose my work to new customers and collectors. It was also very gratifying to see returning customers.
Global customers commissions particularly in my glass art keep me busy throughout the year. Here are just a few of many carried out in 2014.
The retail sector was tentatively explored with 2 busy city centre shops in Malmö showcasing my glass art.
Gustus Butik & Galleri in Lilli Torg is a glorious space filled with bespoke crafts and art works form local Swedish and International Artists. The ground floor shop is filled with artisan treasures while the large upstairs gallery space houses sculptures, paintings, ceramics and glass works from small to large installations.

2015 will see an expansion of my retail reach beyond Malmö, improved focus on marketing and social networking skills. However most importantly more glorious time in my studio getting lost in creativity, if I ever get it tidied.
