My first time to participate in a large scale high quality art fair in Sweden was a remarkable experience. It was well organised with pristine Swedish efficiency and the organiser Ole Junert of Deeloopart Ltd was attentive to every need. His subtle reassuring presence along with fun like-minded weekend neighbours made this 3 day event a memorable one.
It was delightful to meet so many old friends and new who popped along to support and show appreciation for my art.
It really warmed my heart that so many strangers were drawn to my art especially the more intuitive pieces. To witness eyes light up and faces break open in smiles was uplifting. To have someone appreciate your art and give it a new home or commission a special piece makes all the painful stages of the creative process so worth while.
A highly successful weekend with a flurry of new costumers, exposure to thousands of local people along with invaluable networking within the art industry of the region. The first day off in several months ensures a happy contented exhaustion, time to re-energise before the next exciting creative endeavour.
